I have a couple users piloting 8.0.1 and when they use an application that creates an embedded word object in a Notes document, they get the error "An error has occurred while processing a request on an object" and then no one can open the word document. Several of us are on 8.0.1 and cannot recreate the problem. The users in question just got new PC's which are Dell and XP. They did not have the issue prior to the new machine and version of Notes. I tried a suggestion in a previous post to register the ole32.dll but that did not solve the issue. Does anyone have any other suggestions?
